Laurent Fignon (Système U) competing in a time trial stage of the 1989 edition of the Giro d’Italia. Fignon would go on to take the overall title. This year’s Giro starts on Saturday with a prologue time trial stage in Herning, Denmark. Photo comes from Numerius’ Flickr stream.
